The timing of our annual meeting didn’t allow for us to include the results in the newsletter but do look for SEND ME LORD, HERE I AM to be part of our ’05 experience at WOH.

MATCHING GIFT ~ UK CAMPUS MINISTRY

The Eastern Kentucky Conference of the ELCA (of which WOH is a part) has offered a Matching Fund Challenge Grant to its congregations in support of UK-LECM. If $24,000 is raised, campus ministry will get a grant of $12,000 and @ $15,000 is already in!! Consider giving a gift to LECM. It’ll be matched and more importantly, it will support a ministry to, for, and with students at UK/LCC as they continue their spiritual growth. Make checks payable to: Lutheran Episcopal Campus Ministry and send c/o Dale Austin 1045 Watts Mill Rd. Nicholasville, Ky. 40356 Thanks for your prayers and support!

SOULFIRE…

Is an effort to hand out personal hygiene kits, clothing, blankets, prepackaged food, etc to the homeless. We need sample sized hygiene items, inexpensive gloves & hats, pre-packaged snacks, coats, blankets, small tarps, etc. Bring them on Sunday.
